Spectrum Community School

Spectrum school is a comprehensive high school in the western region of Greater Victoria. In the early 2000s the School received a $5.5 million addition and renovation, expanding its capacity to approximately 1,200 students, Grades 9 through 12. The school is currently in the process of a Two Phase project called the STAR Project seeking to build (2) turf fields and an ice rink on the backside of Spectrum.

The school offers 13 Career Preparation Programs including Professional Cook Training, Health Sciences, Digital Imaging, and Video Arts. Two dual credit programs are offered in conjunction with Camosun College.

The school also has a professional theatre and a dance studio, two full-sized gymnasiums, and a weight training facility. The School is within walking distance of G.R. Pearkes Arena, which is home of Victoria Admirals Hockey Association and where Spectrum Hockey Skills Academy students train on-ice.

G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre currently hosts our on ice development times with 2 sheets of ice (Gold & Green rink).
